Founded by Justin Topik in 1995, ULTIMATE HERO was born in Clearfield, Utah.  It was never just a clothing brand — it was a movement, a bold expression of confidence, a tribute to the underdog, a wearable reminder that every person has a hero inside them!

Fueled by the dream of creating something positive, vibrant, edgy, and uplifting, we launched with one mission: “Empowering people to feel powerful, playful, and unstoppable” — like throwing on a superhero cape.  And it worked.  Within a few short years, our gear was flying off shelves in 65+ stores across five states.  Success came fast — but for a 20-year-old entrepreneur with more grit than experience, fast success sometimes comes with tough lessons.  After some setbacks and unexpected roadblocks, the brand went quiet.  But real heroes don’t stay down for long…

Fast forward to today — the torch has been reignited, this time by two heroes.  Founder and father, alongside his middle son Aza Topik — whose strength and spirit sparked a comeback no one saw coming.  In 2022, Aza suffered a spinal cord injury in a freak snowboarding accident that changed his life forever.  But instead of giving up, he chose to rise — with humor, heart, and this time with a mission.

Together, we’re relaunching ULTIMATE HERO — not just as a clothing brand, but as a cause.

We create gear that looks bold and feels brave.  Our end goal, however, besides being a popular well-known brand, is to launch the Ultimate Hero Foundation, turning style into strength and clothing into contribution.  With every purchase made, it’s our mission to give back generously to families affected by spinal cord injuries — because we’ve lived that struggle firsthand.

ULTIMATE HERO is about more than fashion.  It’s about rising when life hits hardest.  It’s about using pain to power purpose.  And it’s about proving that the greatest heroes aren’t found in comic books — they’re found in everyday people, like you and me.
